Light Map

Ever since I dropped some speculation about potential new features in Cinema 4D R15 people have been pretty curious and now we have some real info to boot. Not on the stuff I mentioned back then, but rather something about the rendering. Sounds interesting and with my complex CAD scenes I would love to be able to use a fast GI method in favor of slow ambient occlusion and area lights. If it only is half as good as it sounds (I wouldn’t know, never tried VRay for C4D), it would already be useful. With SIGGRAPH only a few days away, I guess we’ll find out some time next week…
