One more European Military Aviation Failure

Just read this bit over at Jane’s and it quite nicely illustrates, what suckers we Europeans are when it comes to all things military. We simply cannot manage to play with the big boys, as we seem constantly afraid of "being caught in the act" when selling weaponry to others or the countries canibalize each other over financial issues. The Airbus A400-M, hopelessly delayed and riddled with technical problems from the start, is one more such example. Now they’ve even lost their first foreign customer, South Africa, before the show ever began. It’s no wonder, that even in 20 years from now, outdated US American and Russian aircraft will dominate the skies. So sad, but just one more stone on the grave of the dying European (military) aircraft industry.
